At Belayered Fragrances, we want every customer to love their fragrance experience. Because fragrance is a highly personal product and scent preference varies from person to person, we have created this policy to ensure fairness for all customers while maintaining the quality and integrity of our products.
Returns Due to Scent Preference
We understand that fragrance is subjective, and a scent that one person loves may not be the perfect match for another. However, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or refunds based on personal preference, including:
• Not liking the fragrance after opening or spraying
• Changing your mind after purchase
• Expecting a fragrance to smell identical to another perfume
• Differences in fragrance performance expectations, such as longevity or projection
• Not enjoying certain notes after trying the fragrance
For this reason, we highly recommend exploring our Discovery Sets or travel sizes before purchasing a full-size bottle, especially if you are trying a fragrance for the first time.
Unopened & Unused Products
We gladly accept returns on full-size products that meet the following requirements:
• The request is submitted within 3 days of delivery
• The product is completely unopened and unused
• The bottle, packaging, seals, and original box are in their original condition
• The item is returned in a resalable condition
Opened, sprayed, tested, or used fragrances cannot be returned due to hygiene standards and product integrity.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact our customer care team within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos of the issue.
We will gladly review the situation and provide an appropriate solution, including a replacement or refund when applicable.
Discovery Sets & Samples
Discovery Sets and sample purchases are designed to help you explore our collection before committing to a full-size fragrance.
Due to their purpose and nature, Discovery Sets and samples are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders begin processing quickly to ensure fast delivery. Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of placing your order. After this period, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made.
